Abstract

The invention provides a mixed wheel alignment system and method. Driven targets used for a first pair of wheels (front wheels for example) and driving sensing measuring heads used for the other pair of wheels (real wheels for example) are adopted; the driving sensing measuring heads are used for combing image sensors for collecting target images with sensors used for sensing at least one space relation among the relations of the driving sensing measuring heads; and one or both of the driving sensing measuring heads can include devices such as inclinometers, and can be used for sensing one or more dip angles of all the sensing measuring heads. According to the invention, data from the driving sensing measuring heads is sent to a master computer for processing, so that one or more testing results for automobiles such as the testing result of parameters used in the wheel alignment can be obtained.
