The invention provides a foldable chair. The foldable chair comprises a chair leg, a chair back and a seat, wherein the chair leg is formed by a stand column; the bottom side of the seat is fixedly provided with a connection piece; two wings of the connection piece are bent toward the lower side and are mutually parallel; the upper end of the stand column is arranged between the two wings of the connection piece; the upper end of the stand column is connected with the two wings of the connection piece through a rotary pin; the rear side of the seat or the rear side of the connection piece and the lower part of the chair back are connected through a hinge; and a limiting mechanism is arranged between the rear side of the seat or the rear side of the connection piece and the stand column. A fixed plate at the lower end of the stand column is fixed with the ground. The seat is rotated forwards by taking the rotary pin as the axis; the chair back and the seat are unfolded and the limiting mechanism pulls the rear side of the seat to fix an angle between the seat and the stand column; the lower end of the chair back is placed at the rear side of the stand column in a biased manner; and the angle between the chair back and the seat is fixed and the foldable chair is unfolded. The foldable chair disclosed by the invention utilizes one stand column to support the seat and the occupied area of the chair leg is small; and three layers of parallel foldable mechanisms are formed when the chair back, the seat and the stand column are folded, so that the occupied space is small.
