Abstract

PURPOSE: To synthesis documents without checking a document management number or the like by sending an identification picture from a facsimile server equipment to a facsimile equipment and returning the picture so as to synthesize the documents. CONSTITUTION: In the case of an incoming call from a facsimile equipment, a CPU 3 confirms a sender address. Then a communication management table 8 is referenced to confirm whether or not a valid interrupted text is in existence to the facsimile equipment. When the text is in existence, a first page of the received text is decoded by an encoder/decoder 5 and a recognition section 6 discriminates whether or not the decoded page is an identification picture. When it is not the identification picture, the decoded page is again encoded and the processing enters the usual reception processing. On the other hand, when the decoded page is an identification picture, a document management table 10 is referenced and the text received at present and the interrupted text in a memory 4 are synthesized. When the transmission is finished, a timer 9 is started to await the arrival of an incoming call. COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
